'Random Hagakure' is a consideration of language and meaning. History has told us many times of men using written texts to manipulate people, and how written texts, interpreted in the wrong way, can generate evil. The spanish Inquisition, the Nazi Party, the Kamikaze and more recent forms of fundamentalism are examples of this.

Based on a real text (a selection from 'The Hagakure', the book of the Samurai), this page aims to demonstrate how random meanings, understandings and misunderstandings of the text can be created, at the same time creating a new version of the text; a 'random Hagakure'.
